Our Objectives

PSEE aims to contribute to the improvement of the quality, relevance, and implementation of engineering education in the Philippines. The objectives of the society are to:

1. Serve as the focal point for information on all aspects of engineering education for engineering educators and practitioners in the Philippines
2. Contribute to the innovation and excellence in learning and teaching by promoting the development and use of new teaching and learning techniques and tools and assessment and evaluation of learning effectiveness in engineering
3. Promote continuous and lifelong learning, innovation, and transformation of every engineering educator
4. Provide coaching and mentorship to new engineering educators
5. Promote a research culture and scholarship within the society to reposition engineering educators to commit to scholarly work and research output
6. Organize conferences, seminars, symposia, and webinars to provide avenues for engineering educators and industry practitioners to present applied or scholarly research output
7. Provide avenues for continuous interaction between academic and industry practitioners to bridge the gap between what academe offers and what industry needs
8. Identify, quantify and make more visible the increasing needs for specific advanced engineering skills in the Philippines
9. Develop local and global linkages with similarly minded organizations and institutions
